(More customer reviews)Bought this as a Xmas gift for my 12 year old son, and it was a real hit for the first day. The helicopter is a bit hard to control, but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun. Wish he could have enjoyed it longer than 24 hours.
On the second day, without provocation or incident, one of the blades stopped rotating. Upon examination, I found the tiny little motor that drives the blade to be frozen. I contacted Venom and inquired about warranty, and they provided me with an RMA. I sent the helicopter in -- shipping was on my dime -- 4 weeks ago, and have heard nothing back. If this issue is ever resolved, I will update this review.
In short, for only $36 I wasn't expecting a toy that would last more than a year, but only a day?! Really?!!! Venom could have made big points by honoring their warranty, but apparently they view short-term gain as a higher priority than honor and customer service and satisfaction.
