(More customer reviews)This item was manufactured in 2007/2008 and includes either a Li-Po or Li-Ion battery. If it has been sitting on the shelf uncharged/partially charged since it's manufactur date, that battery is dead and unrecoverable. I recently purchased this item and only found out after receiving it that the battery is two years old, otherwise I would never have bought it. The helicopter did not hold a single charge (as expected once you realize how long it's been sitting). There is no way to replace the battery and I have been unsuccessful in getting hold of SpinMaster to have the entire unit replaced/repaired.
