It's loud enough even on a concrete surface that it will get on your nerves ......hey, maybe I got one that has an issue? We'll never know. I has a constant loud BUZZZZZ and when you first press the air valve on your airbrush, you get a burst of higher pressure air that will leave a dripping spot before it paints a flow that the regulator is set for........hope I explained this OK.
I recommend everyone shell out the bucks and buy a larger unit with more options and better regulated air flow.
I will be offing mine, honestly informing the bidders of the issues and taking the loss of money because I was stupid enough to believe Iwata's promotion.
I am extremely disappointed with Iwata.
