Buy the S107 if it is your first heli or if it is a gift for someone else. It is the easier more basic bet.
The Phantom does not come with an AC or USB charger like the S107 does. Boo
You have to charge the Phantom via the controller.
The Phantom will hover better because it does not have a spring loaded throttle.
However a spring loaded throttle is idiot proof.
Phantom seems to have faster lift but slower forward flight than the S107.
Very sensitive to airflow, do not fly outdoors.
The S107 is easier to fly and slightly more durable, but if you graduate to a bigger better heli you will wish you started on the phantom.
