(More customer reviews)My 4 yr. old son loves firetrucks and he really likes this Matchbox firetruck he got for his birthday. It's made of a really durable hard plastic, and it's about a foot and a half long so he can put all of his weight on it and drive it around the house. It has some really cool sound effects and blue lights. Aside from the sounds and lights, it also shoots little blue balls. Don't let the commercial on tv fool you, it takes some practice to shoot. Some side flappers pop out to put little feet on as an anchor, and there's a handle to hold the shooting barrel in position and another handle to pull to shoot. My son became frustrated until he got used to shooting it - it takes some coordination. Also frustrating is that the balls get hung-up sometimes in the barrel, and if your son or daughter is like mine, they try to shoot anyway and it makes an awful tearing sound - but it hasn't broken YET! All in all, it is a great truck. It looks great and is durable - and my son loves to shoot. But I'm wondering if the price isn't a litte steep for it's features?
