I opened the package and tried to read the manual, but the English on there is terrible. It was very hard to follow. But from what I was able to decipher, getting started was easy. I charged up the battery and got the helicopter in the air quickly. For those who can read Mandarin, you may be able to understand those instructions better.
Flying the helicopter was actually very fun. But right away there were some problems. The helicopter cuts off at about 18 feet in the air and it just drops to the floor. After one battery cycle I got the hang of flying this thing and learned what the safe range was so that I would not get to its cut off distance.
I charged the battery again and got to using it one more time. This time on a very soft landing I managed to break the landing gear and main body which holds the tail. These are plastic parts. I thought, "No big deal, I can buy the replacement parts as illustrated on the manual." Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any place that sells replacement parts.
Now I have an expensive toy that I can not use. Hopefully some parts supplier can be located.
I would suggest playing with this in a grass field as it appears to have a high tendency of becoming easily damaged.
