(More customer reviews)I would like to state that I am 25 years old and received this as a gift. I have only flown it a couple times so far, but here is what I've found:
The body is constructed of foam (I think) which makes it durable when it nose dives.
The plane mode is the best in almost every aspect. (I have a small helicopter and the helicopter mode doesn't compare)
It is designed to crash, and have crashed many times into grass and trees and it seem ok.
Cons:
You can only control the helicopter left and right and it is supposed to go forward on its own. This means that if it's going towards a tree, good luck avoiding it. The other reviewer says helicopoter sucks out the batery more and he is probably right.
It charges on the controller which takes 8AA batteries.
Wheels are quite useless, they barely stay in and are flimsy (but it comes with an extra set). I suggest taking the wheels off and starting the plane off by throwing it like a paper airplane.
Final Review:
Very fun to play with when in plane mode and worth buying it for that reason. If you want a helicopter, don't waste your time and instead, buy a helicopter. The plane is great, but for the price, maybe try looking for a plane. I sound very negative, but it is very fun to play with.
