(More customer reviews)Our two boys wanted to spend their hard earned money on this and we were a bit reluctant to let them because a) our previous r/c helicopter which was made for outdoor flight crashed and broke within the first several flights, and b) they are both under the age suggested for flying this helicopter.
Our of the box, it was easy to charge. My 6 1/2 year old figured out how to adjust the trim on up and down flights, and is now learning to turn right and left and it's just the second day. The kids are so happy they got it, and we are relieved to see how durable it is especially since they bought it on their own. It's crashed on the carpet and wood floor many times and nothing has broken yet.

(More customer reviews)I have never flown an RC helicopter before this one. This Cobra Mini Gyro is a lot of fun and immediately gets you hungry for a bigger model.
This is very easy to operate. You will have the helo under control within your first five minutes of flight.
The helo charges through the controller. You have to plug it in for atleast 20 minutes in order to get five minutes of flighttime. That doesn't sound like a lot, but you get what you pay for. That's not to say that this is junk, at this price range, this is the standard.
Anyways, be aware that you will be replacing batteries after about a dozen recharges. Not a big deal if you just get rechargeables.

30" Challenger Warship Aircraft Carrier RC 1:275 Battleship R/C Model Boat Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these from another vender sometime ago. I was pleased by the level of detail. It is more toy like than the HT torpedo boat and Destroyer RC boats out there, but it still has impressive detail for a toy considering the size of the ship it appears to be modeled after. Some of the finer details break off easily but this does not affect the function of the boat. It looks very much like a Russian Kiev Class aircraft carrier ( or "aviation cruiser") in approximately 1/350 scale. After having it for a while I disassembled it and painted more to scale, it looks great as is, but with a nice semi-scale paint job it is even better.
I have lake tested this boat . It seems to list to the side with the super structure. After running in a pond I added some ballast to compensate. One thing to note: the battery is more difficult to get to than other similar boats. Hooking up the provided charger it is easy but using another faster charger or changing out the battery is not so easy.
It has a neat safety feature: the motors will not run unless the boat is in the water or with some other form of conductor touching both propeller shafts. The information on the box is not real clear about this feature.
For about $50.00 with shipping it is a pretty good buy, has excellent looks and good perfromance for a toy grade RC model (do not expect hobbie RC perfromance from a $50.00 toy). If you want long distance range, Long operating time, with scale speeds you are going to have to spend much more than the $50.00 or so that this unit costs.
For something smaller and cheaper the RC Warship Electric Boat with Battery and Charger, torpedo boat from Hobbytron is also very nice. Also the "Smasher" Destroyer modeled after a Russian Sovremenny Class DDG in 1/200 scale is very nice and priced similarly.

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty handy car to have around,but it doesn't have braking lights or an exhaust tip.I bought this at the wal-mart in marshfield when it was only 4.97. but that was when the easter bunny gave me 5$ and 84 cents and then i found some coins that were worth like 1.17 or something and then i saved enough money to buy a 20.oz bottle of soda like coca-cola or mountain dew or something.Overall, this is an awesome car except for the durability.
See you later people that are crazy lego fans.
Ps.I rebuilt this car into a mail car to hold mail.
Pps.this doesn't quite look like a smart car at all.
