Search & Rescue & Extreme Indoor Rescue Heli Replacement Parts Kit Upper & Lower Rotors, Spacers Review

Search and Rescue and Extreme Indoor Rescue Heli Replacement Parts Kit Upper and Lower Rotors, Spacers

This product is a package of replacement rotors, spacers, and a soft plastic piece that holds everthing on the stalk. Works well, and the included instructions are easy to follow. My only complaint, it's $20 for a couple small pieces of plastic!!!

This replacement parts kit contains spacers, transparent retainer tubes, a tail fin, and a replacement rotorset which fits the BladeRunner Series Extreme Indoor Rescue Helicopter, the Search & Rescue Helicopter, and the Mini BladeRunner made by Interactive Toy Concepts. It is a good idea to have a spare set of rotors on hand as a backup so you can keep flying, even after a bad crash. Extreme Indoor Rescue Helicopter (Mini BladeRunner and Search & Rescue) Blade Replacement Instructions: 1. The rotors are held in place by a transparent rubber tube at the top of the main drive shaft. Pull gently to remove this rubber tube2. Slide both rotors up and off the main shaft, along with the plastic spacer that keeps the two rotors separated3. When replacing the rotors, first slide on the lower rotor (this is the one with the notched shaft on the bottom)4. Next, slide the plastic spacer over the rotor shaft5. Now slide on the upper rotor. The upper rotor is keyed to the D-shaped main drive shaft and needs to be aligned in order to slide into place. This should not require any significant force to do when the parts are correctly oriented.6. Lastly, re-attach the rubber capping tube These rotor blades will only fit the BladeRunner Series Extreme Indoor Rescue Helicopter, the Search & Rescue Helicopter, and the Mini BladeRunner RC Helicopters. These will NOT fit Bladerunner series Bladerunner, the Micro Mosquito, or the Firefly indoor RC helicopter. ** Includes: * Rotor Set (One Upper Rotor and one Lower Rotor) * Spacers and Retainer Tubes * Tail Fin * Tail Fin Sticker ** Technical Information for 1 Rotor Set (2 rotors) * 1 Upper and 1 Lower rotor * Diameter: 9.5" (242mm) * Weight: 0.39oz (11.2g) * Material: Plastic and Carbon Fiber * These rotor blades will only fit the Bladerunner3, BladeRunner Series Extreme Indoor Rescue Helicopter, the Search & Rescue Helicopter, and the Mini BladeRunner RC Helicopters

Two (2) Replacement Main Rotors for Mini Infrared Remote Control Electric Helicopters Review

Two (2) Replacement Main Rotors for Mini Infrared Remote Control Electric Helicopters

The rotor blades look fine. However, when I installed them on my son's helicopter, the helicopter wouldn't get off the ground. It's spinning in the right direction, and it is close to lifting off, but just not quite. The new blade doesn't look any heavier than the original, but both are so light that it is hard to tell. Maybe weight combined with a little different lift angle on the blade is just enough to prevent it from flying.

My son is too young for the toy but is a good toy, it's a helicopter and a robot, 2toys for the price of 1 . My husband liked it too.

Autobot Blades carries powerful wire-guided missiles and a photon laser that can bore a hole through Decepticon armor at 200 yards, but he rarely uses either. He considers ranged combat to be unfair, which is funny because up close he's just about the dirtiest fighter there is. He'll use his rotors to kick dust and debris into his opponent's optics, then kick the poor guy right in the exhaust port, and keep on kicking him when he falls down. It's not that Autobot Blades likes to fight; it's just that he really, really likes to win.
Insert the activation key and unlock all kinds of cool features in both robot and vehicle modes! This battle-ready Autobot figure features flip-out plasma launchers with firing photon projectiles and spinning quick-blades in robot mode! Convert the mighty robot figure to a fierce fighting helicopter in vehicle mode and activate the working winch! In either mode, this action-packed Autobot Blades figure means business?are you ready?

Robot-to-vehicle figure comes with a winch weapon and an activation key that activates cool features, like flip-out plasma launchers in robot mode and a working winch in helicopter vehicle mode! Measures 6".

Interactive Blades - Black Ghost Review

Interactive Blades - Black Ghost
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this replacement rotor/parts pack for the Black Ghost chopper because I had broken off one of the helicopter blades after colliding with a ceiling fan. The helicopter still flew with only 7 blades!!! But it wasnt flying too well in that condition so I got the parts pack.
The replacement rotor was pretty easy to install. No tools are needed, you simply pull the rotor assembly off the shaft with careful pressure and put on the replacement. The replacement parts pack also comes with blade spacers and tail rotors, making the package very comprehensive.
One thing I did notice however was that the replacement rotor assembly was of a slightly different design than the rotor that came with the helicopter. After replacing only the bottom rotor assembly (and reusing the original top rotor), the helicopter had spin/torque issues that the trim control couldn't solve. Eventually I realized that this was because the replacement rotor had a lighter/thinner rail that circles the tips of the rotors, and this caused uneven torque effects, bringing the contra-rotating rotors out of balance and making the chopper spin. To fix this issue, I had to replace the non-broken original top rotor with the replacement rotor as well, and this solved the torque/spin problem. Now the helicopter flies straight and true again, and no trim is necessary!
Overall I was very satisfied with the replacement parts kit. Just be sure to pay close attention to the differences in the replacement parts and the original parts, cause if you only replace one of the rotor assemblies, you might encounter spin/torque effects that the trim can't solve. If this happens, simply replace the other original rotor with the replacement rotor as well and your problem will be solved.

Bought this item for my husband and went through so many rotor blades that I could open my own company. The mosquito helicopter is very very delicate and so are the rotor blades! This is not at all for a child! It is very flimsy and not a good choice!!

CNC Lower Main Blade Grips, Blue: Blade CX2,CX3 Review

CNC Lower Main Blade Grips, Blue: Blade CX2,CX3
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I upgraded my CX2 with aluminum frame and other parts and replaced the existing rotor blades with these new ones. A big benefit is that you will save money on blades. When you hit something they will fold away and don't break that easy. The bad about these blades is that it is very hard or impossible to trim out the heli. My CX2 did not stay in the center when hovering, but makes 1 to 2 foot circles while facing the same direction and during flight you have to correct a lot. After a couple of days I turned back to the old blades and the heli stays now dead center when hovering and with the other aluminum parts it flies even much better and more predictable than before. The aluminum grips with blades just didn't work for me.

Two Sets Of BladeRunner Helicopter Replacement Rotors Review

Two Sets Of BladeRunner Helicopter Replacement Rotors
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Although better made than the original they are also slightly larger than the blades that came with the spiderman helicopter. I had to trim back the tail rotor fin to prevent it from continually hitting it. Works fine though.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Two Sets Of BladeRunner Helicopter Replacement Rotors

2 Replacement rotor blade sets for the Blade Runner RC indoor helicopter made by Interactive Toy Concepts. These rotors fit the BladeRunner RC helicopter, BladeRunner II R/C helicopter, and the new red Spiderman RC BladeRunner helicopter, but not the Search and Rescue indoor RC helicopter, Firefly R/C helicopter, or Micro Mosquito RC helicopter. It is good to keep a spare set of rotors for your BladeRunner on hand as a backup so you can keep flying, even after a crash. Replacement Instructions: The rotor blades are held in place by a short rubber tube at the very top of the main drive shaft of the BladeRunner. Remove this tube and the BladeRunner rotors will then slide off along with the two plastic spacers that keep the rotors separated. When replacing the rotors, first slide on the lower rotor (the one with two notches in the bottom of the stem), the two spacers, the upper rotor, and then the rubber tube. The upper rotor is keyed to the D-shaped drive shaft and needs to be aligned in order to slide into place. This should not require much force to do when the parts are correctly oriented.
