(More customer reviews)We read a couple of reviews suggesting that this helicopter toy breaks easily. Actually, we found it quite tough. We crashed it a number of times, but nothing was ever damaged. It just "takes a lickin', but keeps on ticking."
After about six or eight crash flights, I got the hang of it and succeeded in a number of very good, lengthy flights.
I am age 68. My twentysomething son liked it a lot, and flew it with considerable skill.

(More customer reviews)There are many makes for this item. This particular one I got thru Amazon, while sturdy, is rather heavy and doesn't have long flight time. My child had gotten one from the school that was very good and I was trying to get more of that. That one has a marking "Prop-Top" on the blade. If you can find it go for it, it is easy to spin and hovers really for a long time.

Air Hogs Blue Sharp Shooter Ch A Review

(More customer reviews)While I was skeptical of the helicopter missile launching abilities, my son was grinning ear to ear the first time he pushed the big red fire button on the remote. It's sad to say that I spend just as much time playing with it as him. Its very sturdy for a micro-heli, its body is a very light but resilient plastic vs the cheap feeling foam most others use. Its easily hits 5-6 minutes of flight time (even carrying it's two small missiles), with a 20-30 minute recharge in between (typical for this type). It Does NOT have a tail rotor, instead it has a series of hidden vents with a small fan near the body; IMHO this greatly increases its durability but cuts down on maneuverability compared to other micros. Very easy to fly (my 4 1/2 year old can fly it reasonably well). Its little spring powered plastic missiles are hard to track down if your not careful, but it comes with 6 extras just in case. A lot of fun and Highly Recommended. P.S. Adult supervision for younger/immature children is necessary. The Helicopter can veer off wildly when its rotor hits a wall/ceiling if you don't let off the throttle; better to have it fall than knock items over.)

(More customer reviews)These 'Aero Prop' propeller toys are an absolute blast! I bought about 10 of them several years ago, of which I still have 3. I've enjoyed playing with them many times and they continue to entertain me for extended periods. They're harmless and safe. Anyone can use them, yet with practice you can develop more and more skill and control over their height, angle, speed and direction. You can set up goals or baskets and play a form of golf, or just play a game of catch, like with a ball or frisbee, set up targets to hit, or just see how high you can fly them. The bright colors make them hard to lose - just watch out for rooftops or trees! So simple, so cheap, and yet so fun!
